Leeds confirmed line-up v Notts Forest: Trio axed as attacker omitted from squad
By Will Butcher
Garry Monk has decided to make three changes to his starting eleven to face Nottingham Forest at Elland Road in Wednesday night’s Championship clash.
Defender Pontus Jansson returns to the starting line-up after being forced to watch from the sidelines for Leeds’ last two outings, following his tenth yellow card of the season against Cambridge United earlier this month.
He comes in to replace right-back Lewie Coyle, as summer signing Luke Ayling resorts to his normal position of right-back after deputising for the suspended Jansson in the centre of defence.
Elsewhere, Stuart Dallas replaces Souleymane Doukara on the left wing, while Eunan O’Kane replaces teenager Ronaldo Vieira in midfield.
One notable omission from the matchday squad is right-sided attacker Hadi Sacko, who has missed the last three matches due to injury.

Jansson partners Bartley at the back, while Gaetano Berardi continues at left-back in place of Charlie Taylor. Captain Liam Bridcutt starts in midfield alongside O’Kane.
Chris Wood will be looking to maintain his incredible form in front of goal after scoring 19 goals, while Pablo Hernandez, Kemar Roofe and Dallas look to support him.
The Yorkshire giants will be in confident mood against Forest, after winning five of their last seven Champions encounters against the likes of Reading, Preston and Derby.
By contrast, managerless Forest currently sit in 19th position and are just five points above the relegation zone after French manager Philippe Montanier was given his marching orders.
Leeds will move back up to third place in the Championship table with three points, leapfrogging Reading and Huddersfield.
