Leeds expected 4-2-3-1 v Aston Villa: Jansson returns in five changes
By Dominic Toner
Leeds manager Garry Monk is expected to make five changes for the Championship clash with Aston Villa.
Rob Green, Luke Ayling, Pontus Jansson, Kalvin Phillips and Chris Wood are set to be recalled to the starting XI.
Marco Silvestri, Gaetano Berardi, Liam Cooper, Eunan O’Kane and Stuart Dallas are set to dropped from the team that started against Liverpool.
The Whites slipped to a 2-0 defeat at Anfield in the EFL Cup quarter-finals after a positive performance, but Cooper and O’Kane were both substituted off with injuries and are unlikely for Villa on Saturday.
Defender Jansson is set to return after serving his one-game suspension and missing the Liverpool game through illness, while in-form striker Wood return to spearhead the attack.

Experienced midfielders Pablo Hernandez and Liam Bridcutt will both miss the Villa game as they continue to recover from injuries.
Leeds are expected to field their strongest defensive set-up despite injury blows elsewhere, with Green, Ayling and Jansson all returning to a settled back four.
Charlie Taylor and Kyle Bartley look set to retain their place and the pair gave solid performances against Liverpool in the cup.
Midfielder Phillips is set to recalled and partner 18-year-old Ronaldo Vieira in the centre of the park, with the latter keeping his place after an assured display against Liverpool.
Souleymane Doukara is likely to operate on the left wing and on-loan star Hadi Sacko will offer width on the right.
Kemar Roofe is still without a goal during his Leeds career, but Monk is expected to stick with the attacker in the number 10 role against Villa.
Forward Wood is likely to lead the Leeds attack and he has scored 12 goals in just 22 appearances this season across all competitions.
