Leeds fans urge Monk to give 23-year-old attacker another chance at Elland Road
By Will Butcher
Leeds fans have urged their club on Twitter to give on-loan winger Jordan Botaka another chance in Yorkshire.
Botaka, 23, failed to make an impact during his first season at Elland Road after moving to Leeds for £1million in the summer of 2015 from Eredivisie side Excelsior.
Currently on loan at League One giants Charlton Athletic, Botaka has finally begun to find his feet in English football after scoring twice in his last four games for the Addicks.
Leeds currently possess an abundance of talent out wide after manager Garry Monk brought Modou Barrow and Alfonso Pedraza in on loan on January’s deadline day.
However, Leeds fans are desperate to see their DR Congo international included in former Swansea boss Monk’s plans for the 2017-18 season, with some claiming he has more to offer than current on-loan star Hadi Sacko.

Really hope Botaka gets given a chance when he comes back from loan, 10 times better than Doukara

Sounds like Botaka has done better recently. I still think he's got something to give.

Botaka made just three starts for the former Champions League side last season, coming on as a substitute on a further 11 occasions but failed to have an impact.
However, after rediscovering his confidence in English football, Botaka could have something to offer Leeds next season.
In other Leeds news, Monk blackballed this senior quartet when he joined in the summer.
