Leeds United fans have been left raging at their owners 49ers Enterprises after Daniel Farke's transfer admission in his latest press conference.

The boss confessed on 21 August it was unlikely that any new signings would arrive in time to feature in their Championship clash with Sheffield Wednesday on 23 August.

Despite the short time period between his comment and the game leaving little opportunity for new arrivals, fans have vented their anger towards the board.

After losing Crysencio Summerville, Archie Gray and Georginio Rutter already this summer, the need for new arrivals is becoming increasingly pressing.

A slow start to the season in which Leeds have drawn two and lost one of their three games has also increased the clamour for Farke's squad to be strengthened.

However, after his latest comments, concerns are growing that they may finish the transfer window without much incoming action.

Leeds United fans rage as Daniel Farke confirms new transfer twist

As things stand, Leeds have one of the smallest squads in the Championship after losing 11 players who were part of their group last season.

Comparatively, they have made just four signings - one of which was the arrival of Joe Rodon who made a loan move permanent earlier this summer.

After Farke confirmed he was not expecting any imminent arrivals, worries amongst the fans have rocketed.

Taking to social media in reaction to the boss' comments, supporters have labelled the ownership "ridiculous" and "an absolute shambles".
