Leeds fans have given their Twitter verdicts on who should replace Stuart Dallas on the left flank against Wigan on Tuesday night.
Attacking midfielder Alex Mowatt was used in the position by Leeds manager Garry Monk during Saturday’s 1-0 loss to Derby after Dallas was sidelined with a thigh injury.
He has also been ruled out of Tuesday’s home match against Wigan, and Monk has a number of possible options to replace the Northern Ireland international.
Kemar Roofe came off the bench to invigorate the Leeds attack against Derby as the Yorkshire giants tried in vain to score an equaliser.
Marcus Antonsson and Souleymane Doukara could also be considered by former Swansea boss Monk to replace Dallas, if he opts to revert to a 4-3-3 system. Either Doukara or Antonsson would feature alongside Chris Wood and Hadi Sacko.
Fans took to Twitter to give their opinion on who should replace Dallas, with many sticking up for Mowatt after being played out of position on the left side of Leeds’ attack.
Here is a selection of their messages on Twitter:

Lol @ the people who think that we should sell Mowatt because he's not playing well out of position #lufc

Surely if Dallas is out we should move Hernandez wide and play Mowatt no.10? Pointless playing Mowatt wide & position to fill in Jan #lufc

Academy graduate Mowatt, who is known for his lack of pace, could feature behind in-form talisman Chris Wood with Spain international Pablo Hernandez moving out to the wing.
It remains to be seen if Monk will decide to use new signing Hernandez out wide though, after an impressive start to life in Yorkshire playing as Leeds’ number 10.
A win for Leeds could see them move to within just one point of the Championship’s top six, if other results go their way.
In other Leeds news, this season could be this out-of-favour star’s last at Elland Road.
