Andrea Radrizzani has written to the FA, EFL and Premier League in a bid to get clarification on Wolves and how they are conducting their business in relation to agent Jorge Mendes.
He has said that if they are operating within the rules then he would like to do the same – and Leeds fans are delighted with his ambition for the club.
Talking to the BBC, Radrizzani has said that if Wolves are operating within the rules, then he would like to know as he would like to build a “successful” football club too.
This follows on from a tweet that Radrizzani sent after the 3-0 defeat to Wolves when he questioned whether the midlands club was acted legally.
The EFL has said it will meet with Wolves but the Championship leaders are confident that they’re acting within the rules.
And it looks like they’re certain to get promoted to the Premier League this season.
Now, Radrizzani is adamant that if it’s good for Wolves, that it’s good for other clubs, and Leeds fans are excited that their owner is making such a public statement.
Here are the best reactions from Leeds fans on hearing the news:
Precisely. Don’t want to be a clever trousers but I argued this point with so many last weds night to the point that I had to take a time out. He’s clarifying the rules for our benefit.

Perfectly entitled to put this argument to EFL and PL – good to see AR looking for clarity and a way forward for Leeds.

Walk the walk then Andrea, don't just talk about it

This is superb. Go on Radz lad – get fired into Baofeng and Aspire for unlimited funds – and get the cash splashed! FFP is dead.

This is a great promising read Adam.
Could be life changing for Leeds utd if Andrea gets up-to date with regulations.

Absolutely. And if Radders gets the nod from the authorities that it’s alright to do this, then others should do it too.

Agree with this.
If it’s all above board, copy it. If it’s not then what happens to Wolves?
Original tweet last week looked childish but too often teams go up after breaking FFP-this navigates them.
EFL and FFP regs are weak and this puts focus on this as much as Wolves.
