Leeds fans rage at what Georginio Rutter's replacement did vs West Brom
Leeds United fans are questioning whether Joel Pireo is capable of replacing Brighton-bound Georginio Rutter after his performance in their 0-0 draw with West Brom.
Dutch attacker Piroe, 25, was subbed off in the 63rd minute after failing to create a single chance and completing just six passes in their game at The Hawthorns on Saturday (August 17).
Football Insider revealed (August 15) that Rutter is heading to Brighton to undergo his medical after the Premier League club activated his £40 million release clause.
Piroe has featured in both of Leeds' Championship games so far this season and set Brendan Aaronson up for his 95th-minute equaliser in their 3-3 opening-day draw with Portsmouth.

It's been a mixed bag for Pireo at Leeds United since making the £10 million plus add-ons move from Swansea City back in 2023-24.
The forward has scored 14 goals and provided four assists during his time at the club and Leeds fans are starting to doubt whether he can cut it as a number 10.
