'Legend', 'Play him against Ipswich' – Leeds fans go into meltdown over new confirmed signing
Leeds United completed the signing of Japanese international midfielder Yosuke Ideguchi on Tuesday, and fans are delighted… but confused.
The confusion stems from the fact that, despite reportedly having a work permit, Leeds are sending him straight out on loan to Spanish Segunda Division side Cultural Leonesa until the end of the season.
The news was confirmed on the official Leeds Twitter account on Tuesday morning.

The Japan international has signed a deal that will keep him at Elland Road until 2022, but he won’t hook up with his new side until pre-season in the summer.
Before then he’s going to be playing at the wrong end of the Spanish lower leagues.
Leeds fans can’t work out why an international good enough for the World Cup finals is not hooking straight up with Thomas Christiansen’s first team.
But they’re hoping that they’ve signed the real deal and took to Twitter to welcome the new player to the club.
Here is a selection of their best tweets after the transfer news was announced:

Why send him out on loan when we are struggling in the position he plays.

Looks like a decent player lads…why don’t we put him in midfield where we’re a bit short? Or just send him out on loan…baffling #lufc
