Leeds United are in hot pursuit of Bristol City left-back Joe Bryan - and fans delivered mixed views on the possibility of him moving to Elland Road.

A City source has told Football Insider that the club have rejected several enquiries for Bryan already this summer with manager Lee Johnson keen to keep hold of his best players ahead of the new EFL season starting this weekend.

Many Leeds fans have urged the club to push hard to prise the 23-year-old from the Championship minnows before the transfer window shuts next month.

Intriguingly, one City fan described Bryan as twice the player as Luke Ayling, who United signed from the Bristol club last season.
