Leeds fans react on Twitter to Jansson injury against Bristol City
By Alex Stevens
Pontus Jansson broke down with an injury in Leeds’ 1-0 defeat to Bristol City on Tuesday night – and supporters took to Twitter to express their concern.
Jansson suffered a hamstring problem in the first half of the loss at Ashton Gate and did not appear for the second period after hobbling down the tunnel before the break.
The on-loan Torino defender has made a huge impression at Elland Road since joining the club last month.
Jansson has formed a solid centre-back partnership with Kyle Bartley and has been a key figure in the team’s improved form in recent weeks.
But midfielder Marlon Pack scored his first goal of the season on Tuesday to condemn Leeds to their first defeat in five matches.

City’s third win in a row moves them up to fifth in the Championship while Leeds have dropped to 14th in the table.
Supporters took to Twitter afterwards to reveal their concern at the injury to Jansson and his potential absence against Barnsley on Saturday.
Here is a selection of their messages on the social media site:

Leeds had travelled to City seeking a fifth consecutive win after league victories over Blackburn, Cardiff and Ipswich were supplemented by a League Cup triumph over Blackburn.
Monk’s side began the day 12th in the Championship and would have climbed into the top half if they had defeated City on Tuesday night at Ashton Gate.
In other Leeds team news, the club have suffered a blow as a senior star has been ruled out for another three weeks.
