Leeds fans react on Twitter to Roofe performance v Wolves

By Amir Mir

Kemar Roofe scored his first goal for Leeds in their 1-0 win against Wolves on Saturday afternoon at Molineux – and fans on Twitter were hoping it will give him a confidence boost.

Striker Roofe, who signed for the Elland Road club from Oxford in the summer, converted Hadi Sacko’s cross from close range in the second-half.

The goal helped Garry Monk’s side secure all three points, as they move up to tenth in the table, with 20 points, three off a play-off place.

Supporters were pleased with their striker, who scored his maiden goal for the club, after 16 Championship and EFL fixtures.

Fans cheered his name on Twitter, as Monk’s side picked up a deserved three points, in their push for promotion this season.
