'Save that for the League 2 crowds' – Leeds fans fume after Twitter message from first-team star

Leeds fans have given attacker Kemar Roofe a taste of their minds after the player tweeted a photo of his goal celebration from the game against Bristol City on Sunday.
Leeds went 2-0 down in the Championship game at Elland Road before goals from Pierre-Michel Lasogga and one from Roofe off the bench secured the home side a share of the spoils.
After he scored Roofe seemingly cupped his ears towards the home fans after a sustained amount of criticism for some poor displays.
However, he didn’t make mention of that when he tweeted another part of his celebration.

Roofe also said that the atmosphere when his second goal went in was “massive”.
However, a lot of fans hadn’t forgotten his earlier gesture and reminded him on his Twitter account, although not all fans were angry.
One said that he should save those sort of gestures for the “League Two crowds”, while another defended him saying he was trying to block out the huge noise from the fans.
Here is a selection of the best reactions to Kemar Roofe’s message:
