Leeds United fans have turned to social media to react to news of an unchanged starting XI for the club’s clash with Wolverhampton Wanderers on Wednesday.

The club announced their line up against the league leaders via their official Twitter account, which confirmed that Thomas Christiansen had chosen not to make any changes from their 2-1 win over Middlesbrough on Sunday.

Missing completely from the squad is striker Pierre Michel Lasogga, with Kemar Roofe preferred ahead of Caleb Ekuban, while Stuart Dallas is named on the substitute’s bench after missing out completely against Boro.

Fans were delighted with Christiansen’s decision to keep the faith with his players, and took to Twitter to voice their feelings.

Here, Football Insider has rounded up a selection of the supporters’ best tweets:

Leeds currently sit 12 points adrift of the table toppers, having suffered a dreadful run of form which saw them lost seven of their nine league games prior to the victory at Elland Road, while they are also three points off of Derby County in sixth, the last of the play off places.

The Whites last visited Molineux over a year ago, with Roofe poking home the only goal of the match from a Hadi Sacko cross to secure the three points.

In other Leeds United news, Caleb Ekuban has revealed the cult hero he is hoping to emulate.
