Taylor has played in 25 encounters for Garry Monk’s side in all competitions this season with a return of three assists.

He has been a key part of the Yorkshire giants’ back four this campaign, which has seen them sit as high as fifth place in England’s second tier.

However, it is unlikely that owner Massimo Cellino will let him run his contract down at the club, leaving the side in an difficult situation.

Taylor broke through the academy at Leeds, making his debut at the age of 17, but his future at Elland Road may now be coming to a premature end.
