Leeds fans react on Twitter to Dallas starting v Birmingham

By Harvey Byrne

Leeds fans have expressed their dismay at Garry Monk bringing Stuart Dallas into the line-up to face Birmingham on Friday evening.

The 25-year-old Northern Ireland international was restricted to just a four minute cameo in the club’s last outing against Sheffield Wednesday.

However, Monk has decided to start him on the left side of an attacking midfield three with the pacey Hadi Sacko dropping to the bench.

A number of supporters have shared that their side is now missing pace on the wings with both Dallas and Souleymane Doukara starting.

Meanwhile, one fan simply wrote the Irishman off.

Here are a selection of their messages on Twitter:

Dallas has featured in 28 matches for the Yorkshire giants this campaign, bringing a return of just three goals and two assists.

However, in his last league start against Ipswich he did bag an important goal in the 1-1 draw.

He will now be hoping to add to that tally as Leeds look to end their 13-year wait for top flight football this campaign.

Monk’s side are currently placed in fourth in the league table and they will be looking to achieve all three points against a side they lost to in August.
