Leeds United were handed a potentially huge fitness boost on Wednesday ahead of the Championship clash with Sheffield United on Saturday.
Enforcer Pontus Jansson was taken off injured after 30 minutes of the 4-1 loss to Cardiff last Saturday and it was expected that he wouldn’t make the crunch clash against fellow promotion hopefuls Sheffield United on Saturday.
However, on Tuesday, his brother Peter Jansson posted a tweet that got Leeds fans very excited.
Responding to a fan who asked how Jansson was getting on, his brother said, “Ready for Paul’s Saturday selection.”

He followed that up with another tweet re-iterating that his brother would be fit and available.

If Jansson was fit it would be a massive boost for new manager Paul Heckingbottom, who is missing key players through long-term injury or suspension.
Jansson, when fit and on top form, is one of the club’s biggest assets and he’ll need to be at his best if Leeds want to come away with the three points on Saturday.
Here is a selection of Leeds fans, full of hope after his brother’s tweet:
