Leeds fans say which defenders should be axed after Jansson signing
By Dominic Toner
Pontus Jansson has joined Leeds in a loan-to-buy deal – and supporters have taken to Twitter to give their verdicts on who should play in defence this season.
Torino announced on their official website that Jansson has agreed a season-long loan move to Elland Road but there is an option for a permanent transfer next summer.
Jansson will now compete with centre-backs Sol Bamba, Liam Cooper and Kyle Bartley for a starting position.
Leeds fans on Twitter are expecting their new signing to go straight into the first team and believe that Ivorian defender Bamba is certain to fall down the pecking order.

One supporter has suggested that Jansson and Bartley should form the new defence and help a side who have not kept a clean sheet in their first three league games.
Barley joined Leeds this summer on a season-long loan from Swansea and the new team-mates could line up together in the club’s next fixture against Sheffield Wednesday.

Jansson is an eight-time Sweden international and played in nine encounters for the Serie A club last season.
He moved to Italy from Swedish side Malmo in the summer of 2014 in a free transfer move and he still has two years left on his current contract.
The defender built a name for himself in Sweden, where he starred in 89 fixtures and won three league titles as well as a domestic cup during his five-year stay.
