'Hope we get a good look' - Leeds fans urge club to start 23-year-old v Port Vale
By Danny Wright
Leeds fans have taken to Twitter to urge manager Thomas Christiansen to name Caleb Ekuban in his starting line up for Wednesday night’s League Cup clash with Port Vale at Elland Road.
The 23-year-old penned a four-year contract with the Whites last month after he sealed his switch from Italian side Chievo but failed to earn his competitive debut in the Championship win over Bolton on Sunday.
The Ghanaian striker has seemingly been unable to oust Chris Wood from his starting role in the first-team plans, but many of the supporters reckon that he should he given a chance to show everyone what he has got against Port Vale on Wednesday.
Here is a selection of their tweets:

Agree with Bridders+Vieira – its a partnership we've used pre-season. Ekuban to play up top, maybe with Antonsson if he still with #lufc

Ekuban is one of four strikers currently on the books at Elland Road and is fiercely competing with Wood, Marcus Antonsson and Souleymane Doukara for a place in Christiansen’s plans.

The ex-Chievo forward spent last season on loan in Albania with FK Partizani and was in top form as he netted 18 goals and supplied five assists in 42 appearances across all competitions.
Leeds got their Championship campaign off to a flyer with a 3-2 victory at Bolton on Sunday.
They will now be looking to build on that form at Elland Road when League Two side Port Vale are welcomed to Yorkshire.
