Leeds fans urge Monk to recall 26-year-old for clash against Norwich
By Will Butcher
Leeds fans are desperate on Twitter to see Garry Monk hand Eunan O’Kane a place in his starting eleven against Norwich on Saturday.
The Yorkshire giants play host to the Canaries at Elland Road as they look to keep their slim hopes of achieving a Championship play-off place alive.
Monk will be hoping his side can make it three wins from three against the east Anglian outfit, after already triumphing in the league and through a penalty shootout in the EFL Cup.
O’Kane, 26, has failed to start a single match since March 3, when the Whites secured a 3-1 away victory against Birmingham City at St. Andrews.
The former Bournemouth star has been made to wait with Monk giving preference to the likes of captain Liam Bridcutt and young stars Ronaldo Vieira and Kalvin Phillips in central midfield.

However, fans have called on the former Swansea boss to hand O’Kane a return in the middle of the park on Saturday, as they look for their 23rd league win of the season.
Here is a selection of their messages on Twitter:

Would quite like to see O'Kane start tomorrow, think he's been unlucky to have been left out of the starting XI for so long #lufc

If O'Kane doesn't start tomorrow I'm going pub. Not wasting another 90 minutes watching Kalvin Phillips pretend to be a footballer.

Start O'Kane. This isn't rocket science

O'Kane and Vieira in the middle v Norwich. Pedraza and Dallas wide. Roofe number 10. Wood up top. Same back 5 as today. #lufc

Since his move to Elland Road, O’Kane has made a total of 24 appearances in all competitions as a groin problem hampered his progress during the Christmas period.
Leeds will move on to level points with sixth placed Fulham if they beat Norwich and the Cottagers slip up against Brentford at Craven Cottage.
