Leeds fans have urged Garry Monk to recall attacker Pablo Hernandez to the starting line-up ahead of Saturday afternoon's clash against QPR.

The 31-year-old attacking midfielder was left on the bench in the midweek 1-1 draw with Fulham with Kemar Roofe taking up the position behind the striker.

However, following the stalemate supporters now want to see the Spaniard make his return to the first-team squad.

Hernandez has played a pivotal part in his first season at Leeds with his loan deal being turned into a permanent in January.

His set-pieces are also a huge asset to Monk's team and fans on social media have called for the player to return to the line-up on Saturday afternoon.

Here are a selection of their messages on Twitter:

Hernandez has played in 28 matches for Leeds in all competitions this season, bringing a return of four goals and eight assists.

He himself will be keen to remain playing a key role in the Yorkshire giants' team as they aim for a play-off finish with 10 matches of the season left.

Their Saturday opponents are currently sat down in mid-table in 14th and it is thought that they are only playing for pride at this late stage.
