Leeds fans urge Monk to start attacking duo for Birmingham showdown

By Amir Mir

Leeds take on Birmingham City in a Championship clash on Friday night – and fans on Twitter have urged Garry Monk to start attacking duo, Alfonso Pedraza and Modou Barrow.

The Yorkshire club will travel to the Midlands looking to build upon their impressive win against promotion rivals Sheffield Wednesday last time out.

Striker Chris Wood struck the only goal of the game during that fixture, but fans now want changes to the attacking department for their midweek showdown.

Souleymane Doukara and Hadi Sacko were the players who started the last match, but fans want to see January signings Pedraza and Barrow given a run in the side.

One fan stated that the club didn’t sign them to sit on the bench as they are yet to make their first starts for the club.

At this moment in time, they have both been limited to appearances from the bench, but one supporter believes there is not enough quality coming out wide so he would start the duo.

Furthermore, another supporter wants to see the attacking line freshened up, but fans cannot see their manager changing a winning team.

Overall, the Elland Road faithful want to see the duo given a run for the money so they can show their manager what they are about.

Here is a selection of their message on Twitter:

Both teams go into this fixture on the back of morale-boosting results. The Blues beat Midlands rivals Wolves 2-1 away from home las Friday, while the Whites beat their Yorkshire rivals also.

In other Leeds news, Sky Sports pundit has predicted where the Whites will finish this season and delivered his verdict on Garry Monk.
