Leeds fans want Monk to drop 23-year-old after draw against Fulham
By Amir Mir
Charlie Taylor played the full match as Leeds recorded a 1-1 draw against Fulham on Tuesday night – but fans on Twitter want him dropped for the clash against QPR on Saturday.
The 23-year-old made his first appearance for the club at Craven Cottage since their 1-0 win against Brentford in December.
Despite a lengthy spell on the sidelines, the left-back produced a good display and didn’t look out of shape during the encounter.
However, with the game against QPR at the weekend at Elland Road, fans believe two games within the space of a week for their player will be too much.
Furthermore, right-back Luke Ayling, who missed the game on Tuesday night because of the birth of his child, could be in contention to make a return.

Therefore, a number of supporters stated that Taylor would be the one who misses out with Gaetano Berardi reverting to Taylor’s position.
Not only that, there are those who feel that the Leeds academy graduate wants to leave in the summer, therefore, they don’t want him to play him.
Taylor’s contract at Elland Road runs out in the summer and the youngster is yet to sign a new deal with Premier League clubs potentially touting for his signature.
Here is a selection of their messages on Twitter:
Not when you've got a more than able stand in in GB. Also, 2 games in 4 days may be too much for CT at this stage

well, for this weekend at least, it's too much too soon to play Chaz for another 90, I'd imagine.
(Quietly, I'd like Ayling as a CM.)

Taylor has played 23 Championship games for his side this season, supplying three assists and starting every league game he has been involved in.
Prior to his injury in December, Taylor has started all the games for Monk’s side with Berardi deputising in that role since his absence.
In other Leeds news, Garry Monk has provided this assessment after the draw against Fulham.
