Leeds fans will love what Ian Wright has said about Daniel Farke, it shows that they are going places
Leeds United supporters will be pleased with what Ian Wright has had to say about Daniel Farke as they edge towards mathematical safety in the Premier League.
The Whites can secure their top-flight status for another season with a win against fellow relegation battlers Tottenham on Monday.
They have not lost any of their last six league matches to move up into 14th place, with a 3-1 win over Burnley last time out proving that they have more than enough to avoid relegation.
Farke has won plaudits for the way he managed Leeds through some tough early-season form and reinvented himself from a tactical standpoint.
It remains to be seen if Leeds’ next match will end positively, but their campaign looks set to finish on a high note as long as they are not sucked back into the relegation battle.

VISIT THE LEEDS MATCH HUBIan Wright has delivered glowing praise to Daniel Farke
Wright has previously spoken of his admiration for Leeds as a club, and how he loved going to Elland Road as an opposition player.
He was discussing the Premier League’s most improved team this season on the newest Stick To Football episode when Gary Neville suggested the Whites as an option alongside fellow newly promoted side Sunderland.

Wright heaped praise on Leeds boss Farke in his reply, saying: “You know what? That (Daniel) Farke has done well again. He’s come back, and you have to give him something.
“The man has gone there, come back (into the Premier League) and now they’re actually here and they look half decent. He’s done well, Farke.”
The Arsenal hero clearly rates Farke as a manager, and his praise should tell Leeds fans everything they need to know about what the future holds.
For the German manager’s impressive job to now be receiving plaudits from one of the country’s leading pundits, it shows that fans were right to stick by him and trust him to keep them safe from relegation.
With safety all but secured, Leeds should now be aiming to return to European football next season, as there is more opportunity than ever for Premier League teams to get to those UEFA competitions.
What did Gary Neville say about Leeds’ success this season?
When discussing the best turning point of the season, Neville picked out a particular week in Leeds’ season that he felt was key to Farke’s success.
He said: “I was going to Elland Road, I think it was October or November, and there was massive, massive noise and the writing was on the wall for Farke. He was getting sacked that week.
“They played Man City on the Saturday, Chelsea on the Wednesday night and then Liverpool on the Saturday…he was done. They beat Chelsea and came back against Liverpool to draw. That was the (best) turnaround, for me.”
Sources have told Football Insider that Farke will be given £100million to spend on his squad this summer, so the 49ers clearly plan to back him for next season.
These latest quotes from two of the country’s top pundits prove that Leeds are on to a winner with the German boss, and he could well become a club legend in the years to come if they keep improving.
