Leeds-linked in-form striker available on a free transfer this summer - reports

Leeds-linked striker Felipe Avenatti is expected to be available to sign on a free transfer this summer, according to reports.
Italian outlet Stadio Sport claim the 23-year-old, who plays for Serie B side Ternana Calcio, will be a free agent from late June onwards.
It is said there is interest in the former Uruguay Under-20 international from Serie A clubs following his impressive form this season.
Italian transfer site Tutto Mercato Web reported that Leeds were among the clubs closely tracking the forward last summer.
Manager Garry Monk admitted in January that the Championship promotion hopefuls were “definitely” in the market to sign a striker but, in the event, the only arrivals in the winter window were on-loan wing duo Modou Barrow and Alfonso Pedraza.

Avenatti has scored nine goals and supplied three assists from 29 league matches for Ternana Calcio, which is especially noteworthy given that they are 21st out of the 22 teams in the table and fighting relegation to the third tier.
Leeds are in action on Saturday evening when they host Brighton in a Championship clash at Elland Road.
Monk’s side are aiming to consolidate their place in the play-off positions on Saturday by adding to the haul of 66 points from 37 matches that has taken them to fourth in the table.
