Kyle Bartley has arrived at Leeds on a season-long loan from Swansea and Whites supporters are delighted to see such defender at Elland Road.

The 25-year-old has reunited with his former boss Garry Monk and could go straight into the Leeds starting eleven once the new season kicks off.

Confirmation of Bartley's arrival came just hours after Leeds announced the departure of Giuseppe Bellusci to Empoli on a season-long loan to Empoli and Whites fans were delighted to have gotten the Italian out the door and received such an upgrade in return.

With James Beattie also being announced to work alongside Monk as a coach at Elland Road, it was not a bad day for Leeds supporters and they were a happy bunch on Twitter.

Bartley is Monk's second summer signing with Marcus Antonsson sealing his £2million switch to the club last week.

Leeds harbour ambitions of pushing for a play-off spot next season after finishing 13th in the Championship in the 2015-16 season.
