Leeds player ratings v Burton: 4/10 should be axed
By Dominic Toner
Football Insider rates the Leeds players after their 2-1 defeat away to Burton in the Championship.
Rob Green 5 – The veteran goalkeeper had a quiet match and had no notable saves to make, but two late goals for Burton have crushed their season.
Luke Ayling 6 – Was tested against the pace of Burton winger Lloyd Dyer and tried to support the attack when he could.
Kyle Bartley 7 – Looked very threatening for Leeds as an attacking sense from corners, was also defensively solid for the majority. He pushed into an attacking position late on as his side pushed for a response and did manage one goal.
Pontus Jansson 6 – The Swede won countless headers in the game, but will be disappointed to see his side ship two goals.

Charlie Taylor 6 – Average at left-back and offered more of an attacking threat than Gaetano Berardi, but his lack of match fitness maybe played a part.
Kalvin Phillips 4 – The midfielder was the poorest Leeds player and really struggled to make an impact. He was sloppy in possession and should be axed in the remaining two games, with Eunan O’Kane available to replace him.
Ronaldo Vieira 8 – Leeds’ best player on his return to the starting line-up from illness. The teenage midfielder was a rock in the centre and looked the most determined, winning tackles and being wise in possession,
Kemar Roofe 5 – The winger failed to really get into the game and missed an opportunity to get at Burton’s vulnerable defence, saw a great chance squandered late on.
Pablo Hernandez 7 – Saw a lot of ball and his technical ability showed on a small pitch, tried to make things happen for Leeds but needed extra support.
Souleymane Doukara 6 – Showed his strength and threatened the Burton defence on occasions, but was substituted off for Hadi Sacko.
Chris Wood 6 – The prolific forward was involved in Leeds’ first goal, but failed to really make many chances for himself. That is now just one goal in his last six league matches.
Hadi Sacko (for Doukara 61mins) 6
Alfonso Pedraza (for Phillips 66mins) 5
