Leeds player ratings v Reading: Attacker tears visitors apart

Football Insider rates the Leeds players after their 2-0 win against Reading in the Championship on Tuesday night at Elland Road.
Rob Green 6 – Solid and steady. For a change.
Luke Ayling 7 – Back to his best after a woolly display at Brighton. .
Pontus Jansson 8 – The darling of the autumn showed he can also be pretty useful in winter. Completely dominated the Reading front line.
Kyle Bartley 7 – Solid as a lump of granite. Made a string of important interceptions and some crunching tackles.

Charlie Taylor 7 – The in-demand defender was one of Leeds principal attacking threats and dovetailed well with Stuart Dallas on the left flank. Won the penalty for the second goal.
Ronaldo Vieira 7 – Showed yet another string to his mighty impressive bow by shielding the defence alone in the new-look 4-1-4-1 formation before being aided by Liam Bridcutt from the 33rd minute.
Stuart Dallas 6 – Neat and tidy after being recalled to the team.
Hadi Sacko 8 – Terrified the visitors with his pace and penetrating runs down the right flank. Like a man possessed after a quiet few weeks.
Kemar Roofe 6 – Effective in a central playmaker role although not everything he did came off. Subbed after 70 minutes.
Souleymane Doukara 7 – Worked his socks off both in a central attacking midfield role and then as the spearhead for two-third of the match. Slotted home the late penalty to secure the win. His redemption is complete.
Chris Wood 7 – His profitable partnership with Sacko continued as he latched on to the wide man’s first-half cross via a deflection to bury his 14th goal in 25 matches this season. Withdrawn after 33 minutes due to injury.

Alex Mowatt (On for Roofe, 70mins) 6
