Leeds United have terminated defender Amadou Haidara’s deal, according to a club insider.
Lufcyouth, who are a very reliable source of information on the development squads at Elland Road, claimed on their Twitter account that the 24-year-old has left the Yorkshire club and is now without a club.

Haidara never made a single appearance at Leeds after signing for them in 2016.
The former Nantes defender was a part of the Under-23s squad and played in quite a few games, but will now be on the lookout for a new club after leaving the Whites on Thursday.
It was a very strange signing by United, who had never really mentioned the 24-year-old’s arrival at Elland Road despite him announcing it himself on Instagram.
Some fans have even suggested on Twitter that Leeds may have signed the wrong player as another Amadou Haidara plays as a midfielder for Red Bull Salzburg in Austria.
Football Insider verdict
Leeds’ Under-23s squad has had a major facelift ever since Andrea Radrizzani took control of the club and employed Victor Orta as director of football. Some players have already been shifted out like Eoghan Stokes and it seems that Haidara is the latest. It was very strange that Leeds signed the Frenchman but never really mentioned it, despite him regularly appearing in the Under-23s. He was never likely to break into the first-team so getting rid of him makes sense. His deal was probably due to expire in the summer anyway so a bit of money is saved now. Leeds fans will probably be curious at what club Haidara ends up at next.
