Leeds tipped for major turnaround after confirmed dressing room reveal - pundit
Leeds United have “too much quality in their team” to be dragged into a relegation fight this season, according to Kevin Campbell.
The former Arsenal and Everton striker, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, said the Whites will start winning games if they improve by “one or two per cent”.
Leeds United dropped into the relegation zone on Saturday after a 2-1 loss to West Ham at Elland Road.
The Yorkshire club are winless in their six league games this season – their worst run since Marcelo Bielsa took the reins in July 2018.
As quoted by Leeds Live (September 25th), Bielsa suggested his side’s morale has been damaged by their poor form and position in the table.
However, Campbell is adamant there will be a turnaround at Elland Road around Christmas.

“Look, the second season is always the most difficult for a club like Leeds,” he told Football Insider’s Dylan Childs.
“Last season teams don’t know what it’s like to play against them. Teams can scheme against them now and that is why life is a lot more difficult for them.
“The wins aren’t coming at the moment. The team might have to up it one or two per cent more to get the results they need.
“I wouldn’t say Leeds and relegation in the same sentence at the moment, definitely not. They have too much quality in their team. To tell you the truth, I really think they will be alright.
“One thing we know about them is that they go right to the end. They have great team spirit.
“When the winter schedule begins I think they will start picking up points. The way they play will stretch quite a few teams.”
