Leeds United have been urged to sign Brighton striker Evan Ferguson on a loan deal in the upcoming January transfer window.
Speaking on the latest edition of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, former Leeds goalkeeper Paul Robinson, who remains very well-connected with the club, claims he would “take Evan Ferguson tomorrow” if he could.
The Yorkshire giants are in the market for a striker next month in a bid to provide more firepower to Daniel Farke as he aims to guide the team back to the Premier League.

“It takes a lot for me to be thrilled but I’d take Evan Ferguson, I’d take Evan Ferguson tomorrow,” Robinson told Football Insider.
“The way that his situation is at Brighton, a centre forward in a similar mode to Chris Wood, if you like, and that's what Leeds need.
“They need a number nine.
“Patrick Bamford, in and out, not fit, not playing.
“He played Mateo Joseph last week, he played Piroe there, you look at the goals they’ve scored I genuinely think in all honesty now if Leeds are to get priced, with or without a number nine, they go up.
“If you want to guarantee yourself promotion, you're going to get yourself a number nine before the end of January and Evan Ferguson is the type of player that I would take.
“Louie Barry, we're talking about him because of what he's done this year.
“Leeds United are a big enough club to go and get a big name sign in January that guarantees them the path to the Premier League.”
