Leeds United backed for £110m overhaul after source's Kalvin Phillips reveal - pundit
Leeds United may soon have £110million to spend on new signings amid updates on the futures of Kalvin Phillips and Raphinha.
That’s according to former Leeds United stopper Paddy Kenny, speaking exclusively to Football Insider about transfer dealings at Elland Road.
A Man City source told Football Insider on 13 June that Man City have tested Leeds’ resolve with a bid for Phillips, 26.
As reported by The Athletic (3 June), Leeds have set a £60million-plus asking price on Raphinha’s head after avoiding relegation.
The 25-year-old has been linked with a host of clubs this summer, including Barcelona and as per The Athletic (14 June) Tottenham.
Kenny claims Leeds could be set for a £110million windfall if both players leave as Phillips could leave for up to £50million.

“Raphinha looks like he wants to go,” Kenny told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“Phillips, whether he goes we will have to see. For me, he hasn’t been as good since he came back from his injury so we will see how that changes things.
“But for Leeds to have £100m-plus, £110million, then added on to what they will invest as well. There could be a big overhaul of that squad.
“Making that squad deeper as well, that’s what is important.”
Raphinha scored 11 goals and chipped in with three assists during the 2021-22 Premier League season.
Phillips only played 20 times in that competition due to a hamstring injury.
