Leeds United’s stars are set to land a seven-figure windfall after securing their Premier League status. 

The Whites headed into their clash against Tottenham on Monday (11 May) knowing they were safe from relegation following West Ham’s 1-0 defeat to Arsenal at the weekend.

Daniel Farke’s side have moved up to 14th place after securing a 1-1 draw against Tottenham, with Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s penalty cancelling out Mathys Tel’s opener. 

The Yorkshire giants still have something to fight for as they look to finish as high up the Premier League table as possible this season, having now gone seven league games unbeaten.

It was revealed in Leeds’ recently published accounts their players will receive bonuses depending on where they finish in the top-flight table in the 2025-26 campaign.

Why Leeds stars are set to land seven-figure bonus

Leeds posted their latest accounts for 2024-25 last month, providing details on payments due in the event they remained in the Premier League. 

The documents revealed the Whites’ players and staff could be owed up to £39.5m in bonuses depending on where they finish in the table this season. 

In a new update, The Athletic reported on Sunday (10 May) precisely how much Leeds’ stars could be in line to earn ahead of their final two games of the campaign against Brighton and West Ham.

If they finish in either 17th or 16th place, the squad would equally share a bonus of £2.5m.

However, that figure increases to £3m if they end the campaign in 15th and by a further £500,000 to £3.5m if a 14th-place finish is secured over the next couple of weeks.

The draw against Tottenham saw Leeds move up from 16th into 14th spot, overtaking Nottingham Forest and Crystal Palace.

Farke’s side are level on points with Palace, but their goal difference is one better than the south London club, who have a game in hand. 

Why Leeds are set to post record-breaking revenue

It’s been an extremely positive return to the Premier League for Leeds after securing their top-flight status and reaching the FA Cup semi-finals.

They were narrowly beaten 1-0 last month by Chelsea, who are gearing up to take on Manchester City in the final at Wembley this weekend. 

Leeds are set to post a club-record revenue as a result of their performances this season, with their turnover expected to surpass £200m for 2025-26.

That is a significant uplift on the £137m the Whites recorded in their promotion-winning campaign at Elland Road last season.
