Pundit Exclusive: Bielsa tipped to be already working on two Leeds 'next level' Jan signings

Marcelo Bielsa is already working on strengthening the Leeds United team – and will recruit potentially two defenders in January.

That is according to Gabriel Agbonlahor, speaking exclusively to Football Insider about United following their third Premier League defeat in four matches.

Leeds have shipped eight goals in their last two games, conceding a division-high 17 in eight top-flight fixtures this season.

Bielsa’s side have lost to Crystal Palace, Leicester City, Wolves and Liverpool this season as a bright start to the season has now given way for a harsh reality check.

Agbonlahor is in no doubt that the Argentine manager will have a clear plan to address the faults in his Leeds team.

“Bielsa looks like a guy who’s ready, I’m sure he’ll already have players, one or two players, that he might want to sign in January,”
Agbonlahor told Football Insider. “You look at him on the pitch, you can see him look at his whole team, he’ll know exactly what
areas they’ve got strengthen in, and you can tell you that he’s wants Leeds to be a top team.

“He’s not going to want them just to be in the Premier League and stay in there so I’m sure he’ll bring in the right defenders to take Leeds to the next level.”
