Leeds United could accept offers of £25million for Wilfried Gnonto this summer amid interest from Everton, sources have told Football Insider.

Speaking on the latest edition of Football Insider's Inside Track podcast, senior correspondent Pete O'Rourke revealed that Everton would "love" to sign Gnonto this summer after Sean Dyche made signing a new winger his top priority.

Gnonto attempted to force through a move to Goodison Park last summer and Leeds are keen to avoid a similar situation after failing to earn promotion.

Offers between £25million and £30million will be considered and could provide the financial strength to keep hold of other key players.

Leeds United ready to now sell Wilfried Gnonto

Gnonto joined Leeds just two years ago in a deal worth just £3.8million and has since made 72 appearances for the club across the Premier League and Championship.

He found opportunities hard to come by in the early stages of last season but totalled 26 starts, scoring eight goals and providing three assists.

The opportunity to make a large profit on his sale will allow Leeds to ease their concerns surrounding a possible profit and sustainability rule breach.

Archie Gray's £40million move to Tottenham had already removed the threat of a breach and likely points deduction, but another big sale could allow Leeds to invest heavily in their squad.

Everton

Everton, meanwhile, faced similar financial concerns after they were deducted points last season, but key sales have given them room to spend.

Dyche is looking to strengthen his squad, with Gnonto at the top of the club's shortlist, in a bid to avoid another relegation scrap this year.
