Leeds United fans have told the club to accept a £40million bid for Georginio Rutter amid interest from Brighton.

Reports claimed Leeds turned down a £30million offer for the 22-year-old shortly after the sale of Archie Gray to Tottenham.

Rutter, the club's record signing, has four years left on his contract at Elland Road and played a vital role in Daniel Farke's side last season.

Rutter arrived at Elland Road for a fee of £35.5million in January 2023, but struggled in the Premier League as Leeds were relegated.

He went on to score six goals and provide 15 assists in the Championship last time out.

Fans laid out their demands for the Frenchman, suggesting Leeds could accept an increased bid of a "massive" £40million and would be "mad to reject" a bid if Brighton returned.

Some even called for the club to accept the £30million bid, labelling it a "surprise".

Another went as far as to say Rutter will be "gone by Friday".
