Leeds tipped to offload Casilla and three others with combined 547 apps for the club - Whelan
Pablo Hernandez and Kiko Casilla are among four Leeds United players who will leave the club in the summer.
That is according to ex-Leeds forward and boyhood fan Noel Whelan, speaking exclusively to Football Insider after both players missed out on the matchday squad that lost 2-0 to West Ham on Monday.
Quoted in the Yorkshire Evening Post, Leeds boss Marcelo Bielsa said Hernandez was struggling with a “minor muscular injury” and that his omission was a “precaution.”
Kiko Casilla was also missing from the squad and Whelan believes the Spanish goalkeeper is another one of at least four players who will be axed in the summer.
In a cryptic Instagram post, the 34-year-old goalkeeper said: “I’m slow to leave, because I believe in change. I wait, I endure, but one day I get tired. Without saying anything, I leave, and leave everything. Once I get tired, I will not come back. I give everything before leaving.”
Whelan predicts that Ezgjan Alioski and Gaetano Beradi will also be on the chopping block when the window opens.

He told Football Insider correspondent Dylan Childs: “If he [Casilla] is not injured then it tells me that when you look at the end of the season, there’s going to be an exodus of players.
“I’ve always thought that Casilla will be one of them. Pablo Hernandez who wasn’t on the bench either.
“Then you’re talking about Alioski and Beradi, who won’t be there.
“There will be four to five players who have been recognised in the first-team for a number of years who will probably be leaving the club and looking for football elsewhere.
“You’ve got to be ruthless in football. There are no friends in this game. No matter how long you’ve been at a club, times move on and players move on. That’s just the way it is.
“It does show you that certain players are not looked upon as that important anymore.”
Hernandez, Casilla, Alioski and Berardi have 547 Leeds appearances between them.
Football Insider understands that Alioski, whose contract expires in June, has told his agent to find him a new club.
