Ladislav Krejci could immediately return to the Premier League with Leeds United in the ongoing transfer window.

The Czechia international was part of a Wolves team that were relegated to the Championship after winning just three top-flight fixtures in the 2025-26 campaign.

Despite the West Midlands outfit's struggles, the 27-year-old centre-back was a rare bright spark for them despite his inconsistency.

Krejci is now being eyed at Elland Road, with Pascal Struijk's future at Leeds up in the air as his current contract expires in 2027.

If the Whites don't want to see the Dutch defender leave as a free agent next year, they will need to cash in on him sooner rather than later.

There seem to be no indications that the West Yorkshire outfit are close to agreeing fresh terms with the 26-year-old defender and his exit feels inevitable at this point.

Leeds United keep tabs on Vadslav Krejci

Daniel Farke will be looking to reinforce his defence in the summer as speculation around Struijk's future intensifies.

Sources told Football Insider in April that Leeds had added Krejci to their shortlist and believe he would tick a lot of boxes for them

According to The Athletic on 15 June, the Wolves centre-back is admired by the West Yorkshire outfit, as they have a decision to make over Struijk.

In Farke's three-centre-back system, a left-footed defender like Krejci would be an ideal replacement for the Dutchman, but it remains to be seen how the situation around the former Ajax star unfolds.

Daniel Farke has another transfer priority at Elland Road

Apart from bolstering the backline in the transfer window, Farke should be looking to sign someone capable of giving Leeds the cutting edge in the final third.

While Dominic Calvert-Lewin enjoyed a decent debut campaign at Elland Road, the Whites were desperate to reinforce the number nine position with Jorgen Strand Larsen in January.

It seems like the West Yorkshire outfit acknowledge the need for more firepower up front, and a new number nine may be on their priorities in the summer.

Lukas Nmecha has been a decent backup up front, but with Joel Piroe likely on his way out, the German manager will surely demand more depth in the attack.
