Leeds submit 'big' Harry Wilson offer in bid to trump Aston Villa and Everton
Leeds United have offered Harry Wilson a long-term contract amid strong interest from Premier League rivals, Football Insider can reveal.
Aston Villa and Everton have registered their interest in the winger, while Fulham have confirmed that talks have opened over a potential new deal.
Sources understand, however, that Leeds are offering a "big" pay rise in a bid to win the race for the Welshman's signature this summer.
Daniel Farke has made a demand to be backed in the market by the owners at Elland Road, and adding the Cottagers' Player of the Season is seen as a priority by the club.
Currently, after notching 11 goals and eight assists in 41 games in 2025-26, the 29-year-old's contract at Craven Cottage is set to expire in under two weeks.
Talks remain ongoing over the potential of him staying in west London, but the Whites have now made a bold move to secure the soon-to-be free agent early in the window.
What could Harry Wilson's arrival mean at Elland Road?
It is really no surprise to see so many clubs clambouring for his signature, especially if he is going to become a free agent in a matter of days.
It does throw doubt over multiple of Leeds' current players, such as Dan James, Willy Gnonto and Joel Piroe, who have all struggled for minutes over the last couple of seasons.
Out of the three, Gnonto looks set to leave first, with multiple clubs keeping tabs on the 22-year-old during transfer windows at all times.
Other than James and Gnonto, though, Leeds' main threat on the flanks comes from the flying full-backs, Gabriel Gudmundsson and Jayden Bogle.
Without them, Farke's side certainly lack a cutting edge in the final third, so adding Wilson to the squad would add yet another dangerous element at Elland Road.
Leeds United have more than just money for the Fulham man
A bigger pay rise is already good incentive to make the switch to West Yorkshire this summer, but Farke has more than that.
The "Welsh Mafia" is famous amongst international fans on social media, and the current Leeds squad contains Karl Darlow, Joe Rodon, Ethan Ampadu, and of course, James.
Connections with those players on the international stage could be a huge selling point for the attacker, who is likely to be looking for a new home next season.
Farke also has huge ambitions at Elland Road, and Wilson might be able to take the team to another level by signing across the dotted line.
