Leeds to hold Largie Ramazani transfer 'talks' as club chief flies to England
Leeds United could sell Largie Ramazani to Valencia in the upcoming transfer window.
According to Tribuna Deportiva on 2 June, the Spanish club's CEO, Ron Gourlay, has travelled to England to hold several meetings, including one with the Whites for the Belgian forward.
The news outlet reports that the LaLiga side’s chief wants to try and push for the 25-year-old’s return to Mestalla after his loan spell.
Daniel Farke didn't have Ramazani in his plans at Elland Road after winning Premier League promotion and the Peacocks would now be wise to raise funds by selling him.
AS also claimed on 3 June that the purpose of the scheduled meeting was for Valencia to ascertain the conditions of the winger's exit from the West Yorkshire outfit.
Leeds United have upper hand in Largie Ramazani negotiations
Ramazani will enter the final two years of his contract at Leeds ahead of the 2026-27 campaign.
The Whites clearly have room to manoeuvre in their negotiations with Valencia, especially considering his contributions at the Mestalla in recent months.
While the Belgian ace only made his first league start for Los Che in February, he scored five goals from then on to help Carlos Corberan's team avoid relegation.
There will surely be plenty of suitors in LaLiga for Ramazani after his heroics and the West Yorkshire outfit should bank on the potential interest to get the best deal for him.
Daniel Farke set for forward exodus at Elland Road
Football Insider understands that Wilfried Gnonto could push to leave Leeds in the coming weeks after falling down the pecking order this season.
Joel Piroe is another player whose prospects at Elland Road have been bleak after Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Lukas Nmecha’s arrivals last summer.
Daniel James has also lost his place in the West Yorkshire outfit's starting lineup after an injury-hit campaign, possibly making his future uncertain.
Joe Gelhardt is also on his way back after a productive spell on loan at Hull City and only time will tell what the future holds for him.
Farke hasn’t been shy about wanting quality signings at the Peacocks in the summer and it remains to be seen who ends up leaving LS11 in the process.
