Former Invincible states 'it would be nice' to see this Arsenal player leave, fans will fume

Former Arsenal goalkeeper Jens Lehmann believes that Chilean Alexis Sanchez should join Bayern Munich in the summer.
The forward still hasn’t committed his long-term future to the Gunners and it looks increasingly likely that he won’t be playing football at the Emirates Stadium next season.
The goals seem to have dried up for the Chilean as he has failed to score in his last three Premier League games and he didn’t make much of an impact in the 2-0 win over Manchester United on the weekend.
However, Sanchez has still enjoyed yet another prolific season with Arsenal, scoring a total of 24 goals in all competitions, and he’s only one goal away from making it 20 in the league.
These statistics have impressed former German international Jens Lehmann and speaking with Sky Deutschland, as quoted in the Evening Standard, he believes that Sanchez would be a perfect fit for Carlo Ancelotti’s Bayern Munich side.

“He would fit in at Bayern, although he is not the typical wide player they are seeking,” he said.
Lehmann added: “He likes to cut inside, I have seen players that make better decisions on the pitch, but perhaps he can learn that.
“He is a street footballer, you notice that when he is on the pitch. Playing him in a system is not so easy but it would be nice to see him in the Bundesliga.”
Arsenal fans won’t be entirely pleased with Lehmann’s comments especially considering that the German goalkeeper was an essential part of the 2003/04 Invincibles squad that went an entire league season without defeat.
Bayern won their fifth successive Bundesliga title at the end of last month and given the fact that Arsenal are currently 21 points off current league leaders Chelsea, Sanchez might be tempted to move to Germany should they make an offer.
