Liverpool striker Danny Ings is in the running to be the next Leeds United signing, according to a report.
Football Whispers claimed on Wednesday afternoon that the forgotten forward, 25, is the third likeliest Elland Road arrival in the January window.
Leeds massively revamped their squad this summer as they brought in 16 new arrivals led by by the likes of Vurnon Anita, Samuel Saiz, Pierre-Michel Lasogga, Felix Wiedwald and Ezgjan Alioski.

The four-times international is ahead in the ratings of Newcastle striker Dwight Gayle who has a rating of 1.8, and Ings, who is rated at 1.4 to transfer to Elland Road.
Ings’ two-year spell at Anfield has been ruined by two serious knee injuries and he has appeared for only 17 minutes in the senior side in the last 11 months.
He made his comeback as a substitute in Liverpool’s League Cup defeat to Leicester last week.
The England international has an impressive scoring record and was one of the most in-demand strikers in the country before quitting Burnley.
Ings is contracted to Liverpool until 2020 and it has been reported that he could be allowed to leave on loan in January in order to build up his fitness and play first-team football.
