Liverpool are hoping to recruit another member of their backroom staff from Bayern Munich, according to a report.
German newspaper Bild claim Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has once again turned his attention to the Bundesliga giants as he aims to continue his overhaul of his support team.
It is said that Klopp wants Bayern doctor Andreas Schlumberger to follow Andreas Kornmayer, the head of fitness and conditioning, and Mona Nemmer, the head of nutrition, from the Allianz Arena to Anfield.
Klopp knows Schlumberger well from his time as manager of Borussia Dortmund, who he led to two league titles and the Champions League final during a stunning seven-year reign
Schlumberger left Dortmund for Bayern in 2015 at the same time as Klopp departed the Westfalenstadion along with his assistants Zeljko Buvac and Peter Krawietz.

The doctor took over in Munich after long-standing medical chief Hans-Wilhelm Muller-Wohlfahrt quit in April 2015 following an argument with ex-manager Pep Guardiola.
Bild report that Schlumberger is contracted to Bayern until 2019 and that his intention is to stay, which will make it difficult for Klopp to entice him to England.
Klopp has only had one summer to organise his backroom staff so far, but worked swiftly to dispense of both Ryland Morgans and Chris Morgan towards the end of the 2015-16 season.
Liverpool’s current club doctor is Andrew Massey, who was officially promoted into the role in 2015 after a year serving on an interim basis following the departure of Dr Zaf Iqbal.
