Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has confirmed that Sadio Mane and Adam Lallana will miss Saturday’s Premier League meeting with West Ham.
This is good news for the Hammers who are facing an injury crisis of their own, with defenders James Collins, Winston Reid and Jose Fonte all set to miss the clash at the London Stadium.
Both Liverpool players had been expected to miss the game through injury and the Reds confirmed the news on their official Twitter account.

Mane was ruled out for up to six weeks earlier this month with a hamstring injury he picked up on international duty playing for Senegal.
The 25-year-old has missed Liverpool’s last four matches, including the goalless draw with Manchester United at Anfield and the 4-1 defeat to Tottenham at Wembley.
Lallana is yet to feature for Liverpool this season having picked up a thigh injury in August, during a pre-season friendly with Atletico Madrid.
It was hoped the 29-year-old would return to first-team action this month, but his return was pushed back.
Both players are expected to return to action after the international break though, meaning they could both make their comeback in the Premier League meeting with Southampton on November 18.
Liverpool head into Saturday’s game looking to build on last weekend’s comfortable 3-0 victory over Huddersfield at Anfield.
Meanwhile, Slaven Bilic’s West Ham will be hoping to bounce back after throwing away a two-goal lead against Crystal Palace.
In other Liverpool team news, this key attacker has had his international workload halved.
