Liverpool fans air delight on Twitter after 31-year-old misses West Brom clash
By Harvey Byrne
Liverpool fans on Twitter have aired their delight after Ragnar Klavan was left out of the squad to face West Brom through injury.
The 31-year-old centre-back was confirmed out of the match day squad with a knee injury after playing the full 90 minutes in last weekend’s 2-1 win against Stoke.
The experienced Estonia international has had a struggling first season in Merseyside and has failed to improve a weak back line.
Additionally, the summer signing from Augsburg has received major criticism from his club’s fan base and on Sunday they aired their joy that he was not part of the squad at the Hawthorns.
Two supporters simply suggested “good”, while others were keen to share humours GIF’s to the injury news.
Here are a selection of their messages on Twitter:

Klavan has made 19 league appearances for Liverpool this season after joining from Bundesliga side Augsburg in the summer for a fee of £4.2million.
He has contributed to the Reds sitting comfortably in fourth place, but fans will now be hoping that Joel Matip and Dejan Lovren see out the rest of the season in the centre-back positions.
