Man United crashed out of the Champions League on Tuesday night after a second-half spectacular from Sevilla substitute Wissam Ben Yedder.

He scored his seventh and eighth goals of this season’s Champions League to dump United out in a shock second leg at Old Trafford, and he took to Twitter on Wednesday to twist the knife even further.

He posted a suitably excited and triumphant tweet and Liverpool fans absolutely loved it.

The tweet was packed with Yedder laughing and shouting about his goals, and ended with four LOL emojis.

It might not make him the best winner but Liverpool fans don’t care and took to Twitter to congratulate him, with one fan saying that was the exact same reaction he had.

Liverpool fans can celebrate knowing their side is safely through to the quarter-finals after a demolition job on Porto.

They are joined by Roma, Sevilla, Manchester City, Juventus and Real Madrid, with Bayern Munich effectively through after a 5-0 first leg win.

The draw for the quarter-finals takes place on Friday and Liverpool fans are loving that it won’t feature their bitter rivals Man United.
