Liverpool fans react to Patrice Evra performance for West Ham

Liverpool fans have reacted on Twitter to Patrice Evra’s performance for West Ham at Anfield on Saturday.
The former Manchester United left-back made his debut appearance for the Hammers as the London club lost 4-1 to Jurgen Klopp’s men.
Evra, 36, joined West Ham on a free transfer earlier this month after having his contract at Marseille terminated for kicking on of his own fans.
He was largely involved in Emre Can’s opening goal when the German rose above Evra in the penalty box to head the ball into the back of the net.
The Frenchman was on the bench in the 2-0 win against Watford last week but was not called upon to feature by David Moyes.
However he was thrown straight into the deep end for his debut against Liverpool, in front of a very hostile Anfield crowd that clearly had not forgotten about his past altercations there while playing for Man United.
Liverpool fans were out in force reacting to Evra’s display on Saturday, with many saying that Mohamed Salah was making a mockery of the former Juventus star.
Here is a selection of their tweets:

Evra made 379 appearances for Man United, winning five Premier League titles and one Champions League.
