Liverpool forward Divock Origi played 84 minutes in the victory over Watford – and the club’s supporters were highly critical of his performance on Twitter.
The Reds managed to record a narrow 1-0 victory at Vicarage Road on Monday night and Emre Can’s sensational bicycle kick on the stroke of half-time secured the three points.
The Merseyside club consolidated their third-placed position in the table and moved three points clear of Manchester United in fourth.
They will be even more pleased that they now have a four-point advantage over Manchester City in fifth during the race for the Champions League spots.
Origi was handed his fifth consecutive start in the Premier League by Jurgen Klopp and got the nod over teammate Daniel Sturridge.
Liverpool fans feel the 22-year-old struggled to make an impact against Watford.
Here is a selection of their messages on Twitter:
Origi doesn't offer anything.. doesn't run.. doesn't press.. doesn't win headers .. nothing #LFC

Origi not good enough for #lfc. In fact, doubt he's good for PL football in general

Origi is enjoying his best run in the starting XI this season and has had to make do with the bench frequently.
The Belgium international has managed 10 goals in 40 appearances so far this campaign, but fans quite often feel that he offers very little off the ball.
Klopp has quite often used a frontline of Roberto Firmino, Philippe Coutinho and Sadio Mane, but an injury to the latter has given Origi the opportunity to impress.
In other Liverpool news, Klopp has named the player he has been blow away by in recent months.
