Sam Allardyce is close to being sacked as England manager by the Football Association – and Liverpool supporters were pleased to hear of the news.

The Times reported on Tuesday afternoon that 61-year-old Allardyce is on the brink of losing his job, after allegations he used his position to negotiate a £400,000 deal.

The allegations which were reported by the Telegraph also state that Allardyce appeared to offer advice on how to circumvent rules on player transfers.

One Liverpool supporter stated he doesn’t even know why he is bothered about the Allardyce story, but insisted he is happy to see him leave.

While another fan was of the opinion that the Telegraph have well and truly exposed the former Premier League manager.
