Liverpool fans react on Twitter to Iago Aspas scoring against Barcelona
By Harvey Byrne
Iago Aspas scored the second goal during Celta Vigo’s 4-3 win over Barcelona on Sunday evening – and Liverpool fans took to Twitter to pay tribute to their former striker.
Aspas, 29, joined Liverpool in 2013 from Celta Vigo in a £7.2million deal.
However, he was largely considered a flop at Anfield, scoring just one goal in 15 appearances for the Merseysiders.
The Spanish attacker moved back to Celta Vigo permanently in 2015 in a £3.5million deal.
He managed a goal against La Liga giants Barcelona in a surprise win for his side and Liverpool fans took to social media to reminisce about the forward.

Aspas has featured in nine encounters for his club in the new campaign scoring two goals.
He is one of a number of former Liverpool players, that have scored goals for their respective sides over the weekend, which includes Mario Balotelli, Joe Allen and Christian Benteke.
However, the Reds haven’t been short of goals in the new campaign either.
They have bagged 18 goals in their first seven fixtures in the Premier League, which has seen them placed in fourth with 16 points and two points behind league leaders Manchester City.
In other Liverpool news, James Milner has claimed Jurgen Klopp is “too emotional” on the touchline in an otherwise ringing endorsement of the Reds manager.
