Liverpool fans urge club to sign reported £11m-rated target, Champions League hero

By Will Butcher

Liverpool fans are hounding their club on Twitter in an attempt to persuade them to re-enter the transfer window to sign Christian Pulisic.

The Daily Express claim Pulisic was the subject of a rejected £11million bid last summer, after Klopp had taken him to Dortmund in the first place.

The 18-year-old wonderkid scored Borussia Dortmund’s second on Wednesday night in the German side’s second-leg tie against Benfica as they secured a 4-0 win on the night.

Pulisic’s goal gave Dortmund the all-important advantage on aggregate, while Pierre Emerick Aubameyang scored a wonderful hat-trick to earn a 4-1 win over legs.

USA international Pulisic chipped a wonderful effort over on-rushing Benfica goalkeeper Ederson, after Lucasz Piszczek slid him through on goal.
